Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder – Focus & Antioxidant Support
This ceremonial-grade matcha powder is made from shade-grown, stone-ground young green tea leaves for a smooth, bright flavor and calm, focused energy.*
How to Use
Serving size: 1 teaspoon (about 2–3 g).
Traditional preparation
- Sift 1 tsp of matcha into a small bowl.
- Add 2 oz (60 ml) of hot water, about 175°F (80°C), not boiling.
- Whisk briskly in a "W" motion for 20–30 seconds until frothy.
- Sip right away, or pour over ice for iced matcha.
Latte or smoothie
Whisk 1 tsp into a little warm water first, then add your milk of choice, or blend it with milk, frozen banana, and ice for a green smoothie.
Caffeine
Matcha naturally contains caffeine and L-theanine, an amino acid found in green tea leaves. If you are sensitive to caffeine, pregnant, nursing, or taking medication, ask your doctor before use. Avoid late in the day if caffeine affects your sleep.
FAQ
Ceremonial vs. culinary grade? Ceremonial grade uses younger leaves and a finer grind for a smoother, less bitter taste; culinary grade is made for baking and cooking.
How should I store it? Keep the pouch sealed in a cool, dry, dark place. Refrigerating after opening helps keep it fresh.
